My Journey Creating a space for healing and beauty has been a long running dream and aspiration in my life. My relationship to the beauty industry has changed and evolved many times since I started working in 2008. Through the different phases, I was given the grace and support to refine my vision. There was a point in time that I had to step away from salon work, only to come back and establish a new, healthier relationship as well as recognition of what my own goals were, and what I wanted my contribution to the world and my community to be. I came to realize what I wanted, what I had to offer in regard to my innate gifts, and how I could approach all of it in new way; in a sustainable way, not only from a career outlook, but also from a creative standpoint. I realized that offering something holistic was crucial and important, so I decided that dropping toxic products was a big part of what I was aiming for. Recently, I decided to move away from hair color completely, and to find a hair care line that had beautiful, nourishing ingredients that also supported scalp and follicle health. My Offering In my vision, I wanted to approach clients and their hair / crown / scalp / energy with more intention and ritual - offering products and hair care that would support hair and health goals in alignment with my ethics and philosophy, while attracting clients who feel the same way. I’ve always had a knack for making people feel at ease, and a deeper karmic connection in allowing the space for others to be vulnerable. I know that having a haircut can be a little nerve wracking for many, but it can also serve as a release or letting go; it can be a symbol of a new endeavor - the beginning of a new emotional/ physical chapter…it can also be simply a haircut! Something to make us feel beautiful, refreshed, or bold. I love creating effortless hair that doesn’t require a lot of styling or maintenance at home. And I invite clients to fall in love with their natural texture. 
I especially love and specialize in creative, funky cuts - pixies, bobs, bangs, mullets, & shags. But let’s be real, haircuts of any kind make me happy, it's all in the details ;) Energy work was a natural progression - I was already in close energetic proximity to my clients, and interfacing with each person’s nervous system (each individual hair is an extension of the nervous system, each hair follicle is attached to a nerve ending). So in 2022, I decided to dive into the profound study of Reiki, and got my certification for level I with Marsha Wald in Lahaina. In January of 2024, I took another training for level I and II with William Lee Rand in Hana. 6 months later, I traveled to San Diego for my Level 3 certification with my friend, Rebecca Slaven. Reiki works in unexpected ways, and has made a profound impact on my life. I feel honored and humbled that I get to offer sessions and help support others in their healing journey. With letting go of hair coloring services, I wanted to welcome in another offering that felt more nurturing and supportive of the growth of healthy hair. Taking care of the scalp and hair follicles felt just as important as taking care of hair. In April 2025, I was able to attend a Scalp Spa training in Washington with Rochelle Shoppe. I feel very excited to help my clients learn more about hair health at the root level. In addition to the above offerings, I am also excited to be providing private sound therapy, tarot card readings, and infrared sauna sessions that can be added to scalp spa and haircut appointments.
